I have been calling the Grind City my home for the past 10 years.
I love the city, the lifestyle, and even the incredibly stupid traffic (although that won't keep the road rage down). I came here for my BFA in Photography and stayed for the Grind City life.
My work focuses on the actions we take to show how we care and love for each other. I cherish all types of human connection, and believe that our most precious memories deserve to be preserved in a way that personable and true to us.
To be perfectly honest, I'm a complete dork trying to play it off as a cool kid.
I'm a fan of laughing at yourself for silly little klutzy things, indie rock lyrics, and- as cliche as it sounds- catching a killer sunset.

After 10 years in the wedding industry, I find myself coming back for that in real, authentic, I-give-a-huge-shit-about-you kind of love. And seeing, and witnessing that with my camera has truly been the greatest joy in my life so far.
I believe that there's something sweet and unique in the ways we show our love for others. And the ways our families or chosen families show up to give our partners their love, approval and support.
That's why I'm a wedding photographer. Seeing how communities support each other in their life's journeys to make a kinda crazy commitment to another human being...well it's a pretty rad thing to see several times a year.
I sincerely believe that the most important thing in this life is human connection. And being able to document that has been my favorite way to contribute to this beautiful life.
